Judgment Begins in the House of God

Australia was initially founded with the assistance of a newly formed British penal colony in 1778. The labor of the criminals sentenced there was used to develop its natural resources to further expand and enrich the British empire. Tens of thousands of convicts were transported from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales to serve as a labor force for the new British colony.

By the mid-19th century, the main six colonies had been granted autonomy and established their own independent parliaments, judiciary, and constitutional government based on English common law. These colonies would later cede specific powers to a central authority, a federal government, while retaining their own overall sovereignty and independence. It then developed into the Commonwealth of Australia, which was supposed to operate like a standard liberal democracy with the civil rights of its people securely protected.

Their system of government has served them well over the last 100 years. However, as we are learning in this country, there is no governmental system that can protect it from the wrath of God. No matter how well designed the system of government, if the people are faithless, it will drift into a totalitarian state.

We are discovering that terrible lesson in this nation due to the fact that our most popular churches mimic the Laodicean and Sardis churches of Revelation. Apparently, the situation is considerably worse in Australia as they are much further down the line to a totalitarian government than this nation.

The autocrats of the world have managed to use the flu bug hysteria of the last few years to take away most of the freedoms enjoyed by the people of Australia. They have been able to accomplish this due to the weak pushback they received from its faithless population. Those who were commended to secure the blessings of liberty, as in this country, failed to act to beat back the authoritarians who are bent on enslaving the world.

Unfortunately, those we entrusted to protect our rights, as in Australia, were bought off or easily intimidated by the autocrats of authoritarian groups like the World Economic Forum (WEF). The WEF has declared war on humanity and now threatens to enslave it along with the exceptionally large number of useful idiots it has purchased.

The WEF has already informed the world that we will own nothing, and we will like it. If they were more honest, they would have reworded their threat by stating that they will own everything, and we will not like it.

Throughout the phony ‘pandemic,’ which enjoys a 98% recovery rate (with even greater recovery rates without comorbidity), the autocrats were able to relieve the Australian people of their freedom with hardly a whimper. The world was shocked at the hidden camera footage of forced internment camps designed to ‘protect’ the people from the virus. Anyone who disobeyed the dictates of those in authority was threatened with $5,000 fines and even longer-term imprisonment.

In Melbourne, the police were firing pepper spray and rubber bullets at men, women and children who were protesting the compulsory vaccine passports. Many were injured, including one person who was nearly blinded, and an elderly woman was knocked to the floor and pepper-sprayed in the face. This was all done by the benevolent government that was ‘protecting the health’ of the Australian people.

Of course, the news media worldwide, which is hopelessly corrupt, defended the tyrants rather than the weak and innocent. Fortunately, there are still a few reporters who are willing to face the punishment of our elites and post the truth of what is really happening.

The number of outrages perpetrated against the civil rights of the people of Australia is legion. These include quarantine camps, curfews, CCP (Chinese Communist Party) style surveillance in the form of forced facial recognition and geolocation scanning sent to the government by 15-minute text.

Other restrictions include quarantine signs on people’s doors, denying health and other services to the unvaccinated, arbitrary restrictions on the quantity of beer you are allowed to have ordered to your home, and police brutality. If this were not bad enough, people could only shop within a designated radius from their homes, exercise for an hour a day outdoors, and could only go to work if they were engaged in ‘essential employment.’

Those who resisted were met with batons, pepper spray, and mass arrests. The majority of the population was critical of resisters and showed disdain for those who tried to stand up for their rights. This same atrocity occurred in Canada, where those who tried to stand up for basic human decency were brutally shut down with the consent of the majority.

If there is ever a return to any kind of normalcy, the enemies of freedom who ordered these tactics will claim that they were just protecting the people. They will falsely assert that their draconian measures saved lives and that they are proud of their accomplishments.

The question is, how did a liberal democracy descend so quickly into a totalitarian state that looked like the Chinese revolution?

If we understand the Bible, the answer is actually quite simple. We find God’s response in this passage:

“For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God [the church]; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey [preach and live by] the gospel of God? (I Peter 4:17).

With the above passage in mind, let us examine why it is that Australia and so many other liberal democracies are being deprived of their civil rights.

If we want to understand the spiritual condition of a nation, it is best to examine its most popular houses of worship. In the case of Australia, the most popular church is Hillsong Church. It has become a megachurch with houses of worship all over the world, including in this country.

The pastor of this church was Brian Houston before he was deposed for various sins that caught up with him. His title was ‘Global Senior Pastor,’ and he was the primary teacher who set the tone for the rest of the church.

To discern if this is a church that rightly handles the word of truth, all that is necessary is to shine the light of the Gospel on his teachings to see if they hold up. Brian Houston’s orders from Christ himself are to proclaim ‘repentance for the forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus.’ It is an easy matter to examine his sermons to evaluate whether he and his global church were faithful to this command.

In one of his recent sermons (before he was deposed), ‘Arise and Build,’ it is an easy matter for anyone who loves the Gospel to determine if he is rightly handling the word of truth.

Houston begins his sermon by proclaiming that his congregation must beware the power of ‘distraction.’ They are further informed that distracting people from building their dreams and visions is one of the biggest strategies of Satan.

As anyone who understands the Gospel can see, Hoston is off to a really bad start. To begin, distraction has nothing to do with God’s moral law, so it is unlikely that he will call his congregation to repent of being distracted. Second, Satan’s biggest strategy is not to distract us; it is to shipwreck our faith so that we join him in the lake of fire.

We learn from Houston that the story of the prophet Nehemiah is basically an illustration of how we build our dreams and visions. Since God does not call anyone to failure, according to Houston, those who do fail to achieve their dreams and visions are basically in rebellion against God. God requires us to believe in our success in rebuilding the walls of our dreams and visions that God has laid on our hearts.

These assertions have nothing to do with the Gospel. Instead, it seems to be a combination of ‘best life now’ theology in conjunction with ‘purpose-driven theology.’ Neither of these theologies have anything to do with the Gospel but are, in fact, ‘different’ Gospels.

And we all know what Paul said about those who preach a different Gospel (Galatians 1:9).

To summarize this travesty of a sermon, we need to stay focused on our dreams and not allow Satan to distract us with ‘problems.’ We need to be bold in our faith and take back our authority from Satan so we can finish building the kingdom of God.

The most productive part of this homily was when Houston did the “hokey pokey” for several minutes.

To say that this sermon was blasphemous would be an understatement. It seems that Houston’s sermon is nothing more than a huge distraction from the Gospel he was supposed to proclaim. This sermon, and all those like it, are pure rebellion against God and His call to proclaim the Gospel.

The heathen will never be brought to repentance with this type of preaching.

When a pastor ascends to the pulpit, it is his responsibility to deliver the word of God. Brian Houston did not deliver the word of God to his congregation. Like all of the pastors at this church, he delivered self-centered nonsense.

When churches go off the rails like this, the heathen begin to ridicule the church, and rightfully so. We saw this in the early seventies in this country with the popularity of songs like “Mercedes Benz” by Janis Joplin and “Spirit in the Sky” by Norman Greenbaum. These songs ridiculed the greed and silly doctrine of those who were supposed to be preaching the Gospel.

Hillsong Church, too, was ridiculed for its emphasis on making money rather than proclaiming the word of God. Below is an example of how the Godless show more discernment than the Christians who are supposed to be enlightened by God’s word.

Anyone who criticizes this church or any similar church that has achieved ‘Sardis Status’ will quickly be attacked by the legion of hirelings in our pulpits today. The reason they will attack you is because they know their sermons cannot stand up to scrutiny either. However, in the book of Ezekiel, we receive God’s counsel on how to deal with these people:

“And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions. Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And you shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house” (Ezekiel 2:6-7).

As I have said in previous articles, the spiritual condition of the people is tied to their house(s) of worship. If the house of worship becomes decadent, like the temple during Ezekiel’s time, then we can expect a great deal of faithlessness from the population at large.

When a nation becomes faithless, God allows the nation to fall to wicked leaders and then replaces that population with another people group. Many Americans may have noticed that our population is now being replaced by illegal aliens. We should consider this fact an act of judgment against us for our faithlessness.

“When the righteous [read faithful], increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan” (Proverbs 29:2).

It seems that God has passed judgment on the people of Australia, and they have lost their civil rights. Those who are in rebellion against God do not deserve freedom; they deserve oppression. The people of Australia, as in Canada and this country, have been placed by God under a corrupt government that cares nothing for its citizens. Their faithlessness, like ours, is our undoing.

The only way to turn this around is for the people to return to their faith in Christ and his death on the cross for our sins. The populace needs to turn away from false teachers and contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

It is clear we are on the verge of exceeding the limits of God’s grace.
